Alderwood Action After School Inc. is participating in the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) System at this time. 
Established in 1984, Alderwood Action After School Inc. has been committed to children and learning for 40 years. Our program is based on an emergent curriculum and has been developed to offer a friendly, positive and stimulating environment to help our children achieve maximum physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. In addition to helping the children acquire new skills through play, we encourage them to interact positively with other children and adults, to develop self-confidence, to build feelings of trust and friendship, and to develop a sense of responsibility while exploring and creating. Because of our unique location within the Alderwood Centre, Alderwood Action works in partnership with Sir Adam Beck Junior School. We also have access to the Alderwood Branch of the Toronto Public Library and the City of Toronto skating rink and swimming pool. This opens up a number of programming opportunities and reinforces a strong sense of community.

Real Foods for Real Kids (RFRK) caters to child care centres, elementary schools and camps. RFRK proudly serves nutritious meals and snacks to over 15,000 children throughout the Greater Toronto Area every day.
