AAASI is participating in the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) System for the 2023 year.

Established in 1984, Alderwood Action After School Inc. has been committed to children and learning for more than 30 years. Our program is based on an emergent curriculum and has been developed to offer a friendly, positive and stimulating environment to help our children achieve maximum physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. In addition to helping the children acquire new skills through play, we encourage them to interact positively with other children and adults, to develop self-confidence, to build feelings of trust and friendship, to develop a sense of responsibility while exploring and creating. Because of our unique location at Alderwood Centre, Alderwood Action works in partnership with Sir Adam Beck Junior School and has access to the Alderwood Branch of the Toronto Public Library, City of Toronto skating rink and swimming pool within the Alderwood Centre. This opens up a number of programming opportunities and reinforces a strong sense of community.
